Essential Speech, Language, and Hearing Bookshelf I have many of the books on your list. However, why are books regarding the assessment of, and intervention with, monolingual or bilingual speakers of other languages not included? This is a HUGE topic in Speech-Language Pathology, and several well-known researchers have published excellent resources in this area of interest and need, namely Hortencia Kayser, Kathryn Kohnert, Brian Goldstein, etc. In my opinion as a Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist, these resources need to be included on the list, as well. Essential Library I am not familiar the texts on the list, so I do not know how cultural and linguistic diversity are addressed in them. Given the increasing diversity in the US, I would like to see a text that addressses bilingual language development and disorders included on the list. Submitted By: Deanine Mann
